The Ph.D. Program in Public Health Microbiology produces graduates with a high quality of knowledge and skills in theories and practices in a wide variety of Microbiology, Immunology, Biotechnology, and Molecular Biology involving in Health Sciences. The program provides students with research experience in areas of public health microbiology with an application in the prevention and control of infectious diseases. Graduates will be able to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize novel information on public health problems concerning interactions among microbes, hosts, and environments.

1. A Master's or Bachelor's degree of a discipline of Health Science, Biological Science or related fields e.g. Microbiology, Biology, Public Health, Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacology, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, or Agriculture with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
2. An English proficiency score meets the minimum scores required for admission: IELTS =3.0 or TOEFL-IBT =32 or TOEFL-ITP = 400.
** A minimum English proficiency score , IELTS =5.0 or TOEFL-IBT =61 or TOEFL-ITP =500 is required for graduation.
** Exemption from above conditions may be granted by the Program Committee under circumstances.
